The 440G-A27011 unit is a Standard Actuator which is designed for use with the TLS-GD2 safety interlock switch. It is made of robust stainless-steel to provide superior durability.

This specially profiled actuator should be permanently attached to the leading edge of the guard door. The safety switch is operated by inserting the actuator into the switch. This type of actuator is highly suitable for use with interlock switches for hinged, sliding, and lift-off safety barriers.

The GD2 actuators are dedicated actuators for GD2 models only. They are not suitable for use with standard models.

Safety Interlock Switches are locking devices which can be used to monitor the position of a machine guard door and turn off the power supply when the safety barrier is released.
